Microsoft’s Power BI is a business analytics service. Its goal is to give dynamic visualizations and business intelligence capabilities through an easy-to-use interface that allows end users to construct their own reports and dashboards.
Power BI offers cloud-based BI (business intelligence) services as well as a desktop-based interface known as “Power BI Desktop.” It includes data preparation, data discovery, and interactive dashboards among its data warehouse capabilities.

I used the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio to prepare data for this operation. For data analysis, I constructed six different tables, each with its own set of fields, that display information about sales for various items and branches. The table structure is depicted in the image below. You can find dataset used here,
import your dataset by clicking on import from excel button.
Now Select the tables on which you want ot work on and click load.
You can view all the loaded Data tables from model tab view. verify your data by selecting each table from right side pane view.
If you want to see the contents of the table you can select 2nd pic from left pane view and then on selecting table name you can easily access values for each columns.
We can construct reports from those specific chosen attributes in the reports section of the power bi desktop application to analysze data for certain attributes from different tables. A report is shown in the image below in tabular format, with details about the Bars, Cookies, Crackers and Snacks.
